Who is Taskmaster Hardware?

Taskmaster Hardware is a longstanding Australian owned national distributor of gardening, home, and trade hardware. It was established in 1985 with a mission to provide competitive products and services that enable retail partners to thrive and prosper in an ever-changing marketplace.

What catalysed the switch to MYOB Exo?

In 2011, the Taskmaster business was acquired by new management. A priority was to review and improve their systems processes. The management team believed there was a business management platform that would be better aligned with Taskmaster’s requirements. It needed to be scalable, user-friendly and cost-effective. Warehousing and distribution, inventory control, and kitting abilities make it well-suited to Taskmaster’s wholesale business model. Because the company sources products from overseas and distributes them here in Australia, there are landed costs and multiple currencies to calculate. In MYOB Exo, you can easily apportion costs to different items.

How are they now?

Following their successful MYOB Exo implementation, the Taskmaster Hardware team decided to integrate MYOB Exo Employer Services into their business management platform.
