Who is Federation Clothing?
Federation Clothing is a New Zealand-based streetwear clothing brand, created by husband-and-wife Jenny & Nick Clegg. The brand has a huge following in its home base in New Zealand and are growing rapidly into Australia, USA, Japan, Canada and more. They are known for their unique designs, and the mix of fashion with functionality.
What catalysed the switch to MYOB Exo?
As they grew, multiple separate brands emerged within the singular Federation Clothing company. They manage their own independent retail stores, as well as maintaining partnerships with large fashion retailers across ANZ and in the USA. As Federation’s popularity grew and orders increased, it became apparent that the company would need to update their operational systems to streamline their business processes.

What changes followed the decision?
MYOB Exo is a strong inventory-focused ERP system. It can handle different style/colour/size aspects of their fashion range. This streamlines entry into the system, and coordinates all the resources, information, and activities needed to complete business processes such as order fulfilment or billing. MYOB Exo can also track stock across multiple warehouse locations, this streamlines inventory management across their own operated retail stores, as well as refills and orders to their industry partners. Expansion into the US was supported by MYOB Exo’s multi-currency functionality.
How are they now?
Federation Clothing enjoyed the smooth integration of data between the different modules in their business. This integration saved time on manual data duplication and let them focus on growing the business and continuing to produce quality products.
